A Consumers' Cooperative Society is an association of citizens (a horticultural, market-gardening or dacha non-commercial association of citizens; a garage consumer co-operative or other association) established and registered on the basis of membership for the purpose of satisfaction of material and other needs of its members by the way of accumulation by its members of their share contributions. Income earned by a Consumers' Cooperative Society may not be distributed among its members and shall be used for achievement of its charter/statutory purpose, goals and objectives.
